For those that didn't know that OHM was having a New Years Bash, it would be hard to miss with the fairylights that wrapped around a large chalkboard, decorated with the words 'RING IN THE NEW YEAR WITH OHM! $5 Door Fee - TONIGHT ONLY', and the ropes defining the entrance line to give the entire half of their side of the snowy street almost glow. The bouncer, Gork, stood at the door, a party hat deposited on the closest rope rail and looked far too comfortable out in the cold. As it was a club, there was no missing the muted bumping of Electro Swing that replaced the normally thumpier Industrial Dance.

The short hall that led into OHM proper was decked out with long strands of silver tinsel that caught the soft light of the tiny teardrop bulbs strung across the ceiling and as people stepped out onto the dance floor, they'd be greeted with already pumping music, softly colored lights moving around with the beat and barely catching the giant disco ball hoisted and tucked in the rigging, high above the dance floor. The bar downstairs matched the smaller one upstairs, dressed up to look like a speakeasy with the shelves, each overlit in a off white light that danced off the edges of the bottles that were there, mirrors installed on the wall behind them all to catch and cast it further.

Bar Menus, laminated because they didn't want to spend a crazy amount on easily ruined paper, littered the tabletops and strategically along the bar itself. If you happen to steal one, no one will notice. All the glasses had been exchanged for ones more appropriate to callback to the era they were mimicking, sans Great Depression, Mob uprising, or Prohibition. Well, besides the tub in the corner with it's own still, ladle for serving hooked over the tap, filled with the cheapest vodka that OHM had in stock. On a nearby table, stood a stack of Red Solo Cups and a sign - Freshly Brewed $3 Vodka, Drink at your Own Risk
